What’s included?

Book design samplesYour book design includes our prompt personal attention, together with the following:

A full-color book cover
We’ll complete your front cover, spine and back cover to your complete satisfaction, at the book size of your choice. If your book is a hardcover with dust jacket, your book cover will also include design of the flaps and a foil-stamped spine for the hardcover book.

All pages designed and typeset
We’ll design and typeset all your pages to your complete satisfaction, including any front matter (title page, copyright page, table of contents, acknowledgements, dedication, preface, foreword, introduction) or back matter (bio with photo, references, bibliography, glossary, index) you may have.

A printed mockup
When your cover and pages have been proofread, we’ll get a mockup for you—printed double-sided, trimmed and bound with its color cover—so you’ll see exactly what your book will look like when it’s published, and be completely confident it’s perfect when it goes to press.

Full rights to your final book design
You will own all the rights to your final book design.

All digital files in high-resolution format
Your book will be designed in InDesign and Photoshop, industry standard software for designing for print. All final digital files are 300 dpi, the resolution required for printing.

Specially sized images of your cover for promotional purposes
When your book is finished, we’ll provide you with various sizes of low-resolution images of your book’s front cover to use for promoting your book online. Use these for websites, emails, and uploading to online book vendors such as Amazon.

Digital files uploaded directly to your printer
We’ll upload your final digital files to your printer with instructions, to ensure your printing is completely trouble-free for you—you won’t be abandoned when your book goes to press.

All your final digital files
After your book goes to press, we’ll provide you with all your digital files, both high and low resolution, for your records and safekeeping. Down the road, if you choose to reprint your book anywhere in the world, you can simply upload your digital files and know that your book can be printed.

A page on this website for your book
We’ll create a webpage for your book—in our Recent Work section—while it’s being printed, so readers can find your book on the Internet while you’re still waiting for it to arrive from your printer. We’ll add links to your website and/or online book vendors where your book can be purchased, to help spread the word.
